Relevant Policies

Meeting the quality expectations of our clients is a primary commitment in all our work. To deliver on our commitment to quality, Oakridge Services (Oakridge) will:

  • Maintain and monitor the quality management system consistent with the certification requirements of ISO 9001:2015 
  • Comply with statutory obligations of practices relevant to quality management.
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently and to a standard which conform to the agreed specifications.
  • Provide sufficient resources to implement and maintain a quality management program.
  • Educate workers, subcontractor and others to improve skills and knowledge of quality issues and practices.
  • Identify and resolve all non-conformances.
  • Review annually the effectiveness of our quality management system.

Oakridge has implemented an Integrated Management System (IMS) system which details the values, policies and procedures by which our business is managed.  The IMS system is designed to ensure client requirements are identified and systems established, implemented and maintained by the development and use of Management Plans.

Oakridge’s performance in relation to quality, time and cost, and the relationships with our clients is the responsibility of every person in the business.

Oakridge’s support initiative, acknowledge effort, encourage and assist workers to realise personal and company goals. Oakridge is committed to the values of integrity, teamwork and strive to be better supported by the following key quality objectives:

  • Review and continually strive to improve the IMS System
  • Meet or exceed client expectations for delivery of projects, within the goals of the business
  • Deliver industry best practice outcomes that comply with legal and contractual requirements, and
  • Develop smart and robust practices to deliver efficient outcomes.

The health and safety of our workers is of the highest priority and will not be compromised. We must all ensure our safety and that of our fellow workers through commitment to safe work practices and safe working environments.

Oakridge Services is determined to be an industry leader in occupational health and safety. To deliver on our commitment, we will:

  • Maintain Health & Safety Management in accordance with ISO 45001:2018 across all operations.
  • Comply with all applicable workplace health and safety laws, regulation and other statutory obligations.
  • Communicate Oakridge Services health and safety policies and procedures to all workers to ensure they are aware of their legal obligations related to Oakridge Services operations.
  • Consult with our personnel on workplace health and safety matters to gain their valuable input to continually improve our performance.
  • Seek to achieve the personal commitment of all workers, subcontractors, suppliers and vendors to the nature and scale of the work undertaken.
  • Establish measurable health and safety targets and seek to continually improve our health and safety performance.
  • Monitor and report the health and safety performance relating to all of our operations, as well as promote reporting of health and safety observations, behaviours and incidents.
  • Review and revise this Health and Safety Policy every year to ensure the process complies with legislative requirements and meets both the needs of the organisation and workers.

The wellbeing of our workers and those working for us is of paramount importance.  it is the responsibility of all individuals to achieve a healthy and safe workplace.

Oakridge Services strives for excellence in the area of environmental protection and awareness in an effort to achieve best practice in our operations.  Setting objectives, measuring progress and communicating results will achieve continual improvement in environmental performance.

To deliver best practice Oakridge Services will:

  • Comply with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations having taken into account client requirements and industry guidelines.
  • Maintain an environmental management system that meets the requirements of ISO 14001:2015
  • Apply waste minimisation principles taking all practicable steps to prevent pollution and other adverse effects from out operations
  • Encourage all workers to consider how they can minimise their impact on the environment
  • Educate and train all workers and subcontractors to continually improve awareness, skills and performance relating to environmental practices and issues.
  • Review our environmental policy and environmental procedures annually to maintain their relevance and compliance.
  • Implement robust reporting against environmental measurements and transarent reporting of incidents and our environmental footprint.
  • Communicate significant environmental aspects to clients and other relevant parties, as required.

Minimising environmental impacts and avoiding damage to our cultural heritage sites and values is an integral part of our activities and work methods and is a requirement of our workers and subcontractors.
